Hey Y'all!
We have a 1965 GCAA project for sale. Currently we are building the Millman spar wings. So far we believe everything (except the engine, boot cowl, windshield and avionics)

is all there. The fuselage has been completely gone through, all repairs done as needed. New wood former and stringers, all new cables, new fuel lines, new glass (except windshield), skylight. Tail feather are complete and have already been covered (not screwed or taped out) We do have a prop for an O-320. Cleveland wheels and brakes, toe brakes, Scott 3200 TW, Logs and data plate. I will do a log book sign-off for everything that we have done and the FAA Form 337 for the wings and repairs. Let me know any questions. You can call me at 541-399-2731. Everything is located at the Mulino State Airport (4S9) in Mulino, OR 97042.
Cheers!

Hey Jeff,
As it sits without finishing the wings but all parts included I think we were around $15K but when wings are finished $22K OBO
But I'll have to talk with my partner on splitting it up....please stand-by since he is working and I won't see him until Monday. We were hoping to sell as a whole but may consider dividing it up.
I'll get back as soon as practical after I talk with him. PM me your phone number.
Cheers!
Tim

It is. When did they go to spring gear? And can't you buy a flying 1965 for not much more?

Spring gear was '67 I think. This one's converted to spring gear and everything's been refreshed so I'd guess with a good engine and a nice paint job it's a 55 to $60k airplane, maybe more. Aluminum spar wings and new everything, that's valuable to people which makes sense.

If I ground looped my plane tomorrow I would buy it back from the insurance company and then buy this project. It looks like they've addressed all of the scope creep items that slow down a covering job. Aluminum spars (for those so inclined), all new wood, no rusted out tubes.

This will be a real nice starting point for someone.

let me help you with that..... a "mention" will generate an email to the person you're tagging

@flyingdakota did you sell your project yet?

and what is the green coating that you used on your wing parts? thanks!
