Here's a link to the project thread

Includes freshly overhauled 0 SMOH AEIO-360, brand new Hartzell Trailblazer prop, a lot of new parts, and new wings with aerodynamically boosted ailerons that are on order.

Not cheap but it'll be good as new when you're done and I can get back to flying. Call for more info, serious inquiries only please. 908 343 1997

Would consider a partial trade for a nice flying Christen Eagle or Pitts S2-A/B, or Citabria 7ECA project

follow up as posted elsewhere;

I have a position at the factory to have the wings installed and the final assembly/paint done along with the first annual and test flights/rigging. Tentative date is to drop it off in March with completion maybe by the end of the year. Someone could finish it themselves and have it done much sooner, I wanted the pedigree and peace of mind in letting ACA finish it. Deposit on the new wings goes with the project. I'm looking at a year of not having an airplane to fly so I'm just seeing if anyone might be very interested in picking up this project where it's at. Not cheap though and I'm very happy to finish and fly it if that's what happens.

I understand where ur at, a long project but looks like you getting a lot closer to a fly able bird. I am at point of finished aircraft waiting on FAA for paperwork. My problem is I just had hand surgery so it’ll be at least 90 days before I’m able to fly again. I’ve also debated selling along the way. Wish you the best of luck on your decision and getting back in the air.

$130,000, if anyone is seriously considering a complete restoration & engine overhaul or low time, used, late-model purchase, the numbers make sense but, I understand, it isn't for everyone.

Thanks Bruce! Sorry about your hand.

Things at ACA are backed up and July turned into October which is now March and that's just the drop off date, it probably won't be done until November next year. Which is all fine, things happen, they're busy and staffing has been tough. I'm not mad, just looking at a year without flying so I'm seeing what my options are. If it sold I could find a biplane to fly and a Citabria to restore or a Citabria to fly and maybe get my project biplane going again. Don't have a plan but I'd like to have something that flies before spring.
