Hey fellow enthusiasts;
Does anyone happen to have or know where I can acquire a parts list for the Champion 26 gal fuel system installation kit #192 ? The kit is mentioned on page 2 of Champion Service Letter 15 and on the Champion type certificate data sheet, item #116.

Thanks

I am also looking for the parts list or a drawing for Champion Kit #192, 26 Gallon Wing Tanks. I plan to upgrade my 1947 Aeronca 7BCM wings while doing the Milman aluminum spar replacement. I had planned to buy a two tank kit from Wag Aero but they say that kit is no longer offered. Apparently, they have the tanks but none of the other bits and pieces and no availability date. So, I'm trying to assemble my own installation kit. All I need is the Kit #192 parts list and/or drawing.

Bob.

Hey rmccomiskie.
Since I originally posted this thread, I have made some progress in getting the tank install info. I have an electronic copy of drawing 7-10002 and a paper copy of kit #192 parts list with installation sketches 1 thru 8, that I acquired from the ACA factory. I will share if you would like to have a copy. I have not started acquiring parts, yet. I see that Aircraft Spruce and Specialties offers a tank kit. Let me know how you wish to communicate.

Hi Eric.
Absolutely I would like to communicate. I just got off the phone with my A&P and he said it's difficult to know that the install is done properly without the parts list and some sort of drawings. If you're willing to share, I'm happy to pay copying costs and shipping. I'm pretty good at finding parts on the Internet if I know what I'm looking for. We can collaborate and buy enough parts for at least a couple of installations.
At the moment I'm waiting to hear back from Aircraft Spruce if they have the 26 gal kit in stock. They said lead time is typically 3-4 weeks. We shall see!
I'm new to this forum so I don't know if we can message each other. Actually, I'm more responsive to email anyway. Here's my email address: rmccomiskie at eksemel dot com.
Cheers.
Bob.

To anyone else on this forum, Eric and I are still looking for information. Primarily, where can we buy the parts necessary for the 2 x 13 gallon upgrade? The usual sources (Wag Aero, Aircraft Spruce) say the installation parts kit is no longer available.

Do you still have the electronic copy of 7-10002? If you do is there a way to obtain a copy.
Thanks gary
