Word on the street is that 3M 30NF contact cement and Stewart Systems EkoBond are one and the same so here are some helpful videos to give you an idea how the fabric cement is used.

A little trick I've come up with for reinforcing tapes is to do what the video says and brush the glue where the tape will be but as I lay the tape into place and start brushing the adhesive through the tape, I use the brush like a little snowplow to push air out from under the tape where the rivets are to minimize the puffiness of the fabric where it bridges over the rivets. Lots of other little techniques, who else has a personal favorite?

There is one dissenting voice among those the street. According to the owner of Stewarts, the adhesives are not the same. From the Tube and Fabric Projects FB group:

Of course he has a financial interest in saying that.

it's kind of irrelevant since ACA uses the 3M adhesive. Whether they are the same or not, the techniques for applying fabric with the adhesive are the same from everything I've seen.

Disclaimer; if anyone is unsure, please verify your materials and procedures are correct before doing any work to your airplane. Assume everything you read here is completely wrong!

Thanks.

There are some slight differences in application instructions, but not enough to worry about.

I of course don't know for a fact - but I would guess the difference is the green dye.
