Is there a 6" round patch yop/bottom at the inside corner of the elevators? I think there is.

On one 2006 and one 1978 in his hangar there are no patches/overlays/inspection holes on the elevator.
I know the '78 has been recovered. Don't know about the '06.

Chris, it's a round patch at the inside corner of the elevator, I'm almost positive I remember seeing them. Similar to the patches at the corners of the window frames, no? I already put them there just now so I've got neat round patches whether I want them or not.

I don't see any harm in putting them in...
And BTW, I believe you're talking about adding a "reinforcement" which is a good thing that adds to the usefulness and longevity of the airplane...
A "patch" infers Bart popped a hole in something that didn't need a hole popped in it and had to fix said hole before proceeding...
