'68 7ECA Fuel Tank Question

Was wondering if there are supposed to be felt strips between the bottom of the fuel tank and the plywood support. I'm making new plywood tank supports and the parts diagram seems to show three stripes that might be felt. Mine had Rubber sheet at the front and back but no felt when I took it apart.

Hi Pedro, thanks for the reply. Did you have felt strips under the tank for it to sit on in addition to the rubber at the front and rear?

Don't remember having ay felt strips under the tank. I can only remember rubber strips that would seat the tank on the wood plate between the 2 spars. small 13Gal tanks here.
