First question: the forms have expiration dates that may or may not extend a full four years. Is your signed form still good for four years?
Second question - we all know that, to get your first BasicMed, you must have held a third class or better within ten years. So presumably the BasicMed is valid for 14 years after the expiration of your third class. Are you then ok to keep renewing the BasicMed? What happens if there is a gap?
No, I haven't looked up the second, but I figure at least it is food for thought. I will now go look that up.
On the first - I asked AOPA, and got no response. I asked twice. Nothing.
