I sometimes rely on the Aeronca forum, since several experts live there - Bill Pancake, Paul Agaliotis, and others. But it is really, really quiet - I am the last guy who posted in several categories.
I was updating my posts this morning, and got a "you are blacklisted" message when I hit the "post" button.
I realize that I can be ornery, but surely I am not that bad. ?

Screw 'em if they are that over sensitive. You are a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Speaking of over sensitive, I saw someone on the Facebook Citabria group a while back comment that they don't come here because we are hostile to new members. WTF? This is the tamest forum I have ever run across.

Yet another reason to stay off faceplant...

I have been thrown off a forum - for insisting my photos were copyright.

But I am sure there is just some mistake - there are only like 3 people even participating.

Agree - we never get in anything that could be classified as a spat or a hostile environment here.

I am literally afraid of Facebook. I have a right-wing conspiracist brother, who is otherwise a nice guy, and I try to keep his facebook feed blocked.

Me or the wifey, neither one of us does Facebook for a lot of reasons. Both of our kids are on it.. I think it's weird that they put all they're pics on the site for the world to see..

The world can't see your pictures, unless you choose that option. Most people set their profile to be visible to friends only.

We've had this discussion before, but I'll say it again. Facebook has improved my life. It enabled me to reconnect with many friends from high school, college, and my Army career.

As an example, a West Point classmate was recently promoted to 4 star General and placed in command of all US military forces in the Middle East. My class used Facebook to coordinate attendance at the ceremony, and nearly 200 of us were there.

The Citabria group has pros and cons. The fact that my questions often get a direct response from Jerry or Dale ... definitely a pro.

Oh and I found my Decathlon on Facebook.

Even we Facebook deniers admit it is popular. And apparently it is an excellent source of medical information and political theory. I'll pass.
