Brake Replacement Options on a 1956 7EC

Recently purchased a 1956 7EC that has a O-200 upgrade but has original hydraulic drum brakes (I think) with 8.00-6 tires that leaves a little to be desired.

Brand new to Champs. What options do I have for adding disc brakes?

But you need a field approval, and right now the feds are sort of leaning toward the idea that a manufactured part cannot be approved via field approval.

Start by studying AC 23-27 and 4 cfr 21.9.

I personally hold field approvals for both that brake setup and the 7AC mechanical setup, using all Grove parts. They work really, really good.
