The plane will be hangared at Alexandria Field (N85) in Pittstown, NJ. The initial buy-in will be about $6000 to $7000 depending on how we structure a few things. Details have not been finalized yet but the goal will be to make it fun and affordable.

Call me at 908 343 1997 if you're interested please.

Thanks!

Good morning one and all,

Another year has come and gone. If anyone remains interested in pursuing a N85 based flying club with a Citabria type aircraft, please reply as such and we'll see what we can make happen.

The goal will be an actual flying club, not a partnership. As a club we can have up to ten members which brings costs way down. In asking other clubs about size and airplane access, ten shouldn't be a problem. The tendency is for new members fly a lot and then taper off. To keep the plane from being bogged down at the beginning, maybe we can start with 6 and then ramp up to 10, or something like that. FWIW, some of us have other planes so we're as good as part time members.

To make it happen though, we need to get organized and pony up some cash so we can move when a good airplane becomes available and while prices are still depressed from last year's highs. If we were to start with ten people, we might be able to keep the initial $$$ to start below about $7000 each.

If you're still interested, either email me or call, 908 343 1997.

Thanks,
Bart

Looks like a real nice completion of a big job. I don't like to fly El Vira after an annual. I don't trust her when she has been hanging out with those other men. Sometimes she acts 'funny' when we try to get close after an annual... if you know what I mean?? Anyways good luck to the test pilot, might want to fly with the head phones down so you can listen for any funny noises.
