I have this really neat Cleco model E3 rivet gun - bought it directly from Boeing. We figured it had built a whole bunch of B-17s, so I kinda got attached to it.
Then it failed - the trigger doesn't seem to be able to control it any more. Put air on it and it rivets whether you want it to or not.
I could probably replace it for cheap, but I would rather fix it. A neat kit of gaskets would be all it needs.
I found one of the gaskets a few years back - a teeny thing that looked like a gasket for a mixmaster kitchen thing - $35 plus a lot of shipping $.
So if any of you know of a niche outfit that fools with these ancient tools, let me know. Thanks.
