If you've stopped by or called American Champion in the last 30 yrs, chances are you spoke with Dale Gauger. He was the first person hired in the early 90's when ACA officially started up business operations and he's officially retired as of sometime in the last couple of weeks. Dale has done pretty much everything at ACA including signing off and test flying new airplanes. In recent years he's been serving as tech support, answering question after question from around the world, keeping us flying and keeping people like me moving with projects we probably wouldn't have started in the first place if it weren't for how accessible and helpful Dale was.
I know Dale has a scaled down Bearcat project that he's been working on for a number of years and, like a lot of us, he's a Packers fan that is happy to see Aaron Rogers heading elsewhere.
So, let's raise a toast to a happy and healthy retirement for the person that has helped so many of us to get more enjoyment from our aircraft. Thanks Dale!
