If a person wanted to completely drain the fuel in a 1976 7ECA to refill and make a calibrated dip stick which drains should be used? At first I thought to use the belly drain then the tank drains. But I thought the belly drain might drain the unusable fuel which would throw off my dipstick marks. However it may only be a difference of ounces.
Also, having drained at the belly have I introduced a problem of air in the lines? If so how should I deal with that?
