I just heard from the current owners, they aren't flying it enough to justify keeping it so it's for sale. Asking $210,000, it's located at Georgetown, DE, email [email protected] if interested. 15 hrs in the last year and just had a thorough annual.

The plane was removed from service 11 months after its first flight on July 7, 1977. We estimated it would have been flown 35 hours in that time as a new airplane and went from there. I flew it about 30 and the new owners did about 15 so it's at about 80 as it sits.

It has been sold but please feel free to list your Waco at BiplaneHangar.com, a free online community dedicated to biplanes. The site is new but the classifieds are free, post it there and then just send people the link to your ad.

Have a pic for us here?

Got other biplane forum can't find where and how to post the Waco
Thanks for trying and that is one crazy beautiful biplane! BiplaneHangar.com is a separate site so you'd have to register an account there. The Waco sub-forum is at

If, at some point, the Waco community decides to come hang out at the site, we can add more sub-forums for the various models but, right now, they're all in one sub-forum. :)
