Flying the other day I was doing a quick scan of my fuel quantity and noticed the gauge for the left tank appeared to have shifted slightly (½") upward.
No acro, constant 1g, it just didn't look right to me.
After landing, inspected the top and bottom of the wing where the cell is and everything appeared normal.
Has anyone every seen their fuel gauge move at all?
Thanks!

Right wing Gauge.........

That would worry me, but I have never really studied those tanks. I am the fabric guy, and the young kids with more patience remove and replace the tanks.
Bart may have a tank laying around - or call Rainbow Ron.

Thanks Bob.
Cancel May-Day!
I’ve been scouring old pics and found one that shows the gauge in the exact same position it is now.
Getting old is not easy!

He figured it out. Gauge is firmly bolted to tank; tank is firmly bolted to wing.
