Hi guys/gals
Before I disassembled my plane to do the wings, I was thinking it would be nice to make a bib for fueling to keep overflow from the tanks from getting under the fabric. The idea was to buy some sheet rubber of some sort, maybe 1/16" thick, and cut a hole that is just smaller that the filler neck so the rubber would be just tight enough when pulled down over the filler neck during fueling.
I thought I'd find tygon in sheet form but just saw it doesn't exist. What other rubber or synthetic stretchy sheet material would be resistant to avgas? I've got some silicon tubing soaking in a jar so maybe that will cut it but figured the resident brain trust would have a suggestion.
