Hello all
I’m a new pilot and soon A&P (in school) looking for a citriabria and would like guidance, if possible.
I also made a midlife career change, as I have read posts with others doing the same
Any help would be grate Not a complete project but a little work is ok. ........... screw it im open to ideas

Hi RJ, welcome to the site! Congrats on the private certificate and good luck in A&P school.

Having the A&P certificate will make it so much easier to buy a project or a flying airplane that needs some work. Don't be afraid of the wood wing spar airplanes but be prepared to spend some time inspecting the spars before you make an offer. You want to fly, not spend years rebuilding a set of wings (ask me how I know!) so be careful before you buy and you'll be fine.

Don't be shy about asking questions, before long you'll be answering questions for us!
 
Thank you. I will not be shy What do you look for on the wood spar ? And can you build a second set wily flying the other or is that not done?
