Lots of interesting conversation here so I thought I’d join in. Me an My 79 7GCBC live at Marchmont Airpark in Advance NC. I fly for a living and don’t fly her enough, hoping maybe so nostalgic conversation will get me out more.

Airport and airplane look great. When I was flying for a living, I could get off the couch, drive to the airport, do thre landings, and be back on the couch inside of an hour. Now I stretch it out to four hours and pretend I am doing important stuff.

Welcome! Great looking Citabria, love the traditional paint schemes.

How far are you from Charlotte? I've got a 30 hr layover at the end of August.......just sayin'....... :)

Cool. Who is that in your avatar photo?

I'll shoot you a message if I still have that trip in a few weeks and you feel like hosting so I can drool in and around your airplane.

@Champ2kt Any chance you'll be around Monday during the day and will want to take a guy flying? I'll be in Charlotte all day, can rent a car and drive up if you'll be around.

Man I’d love to, but out in DEN training on a new plane.
Missed your last reply. The avatar is a still from Time Chasers, a bad movie from the 90’s that stared my Airplane

TK? Just went through there in June/July (EWR737CA). What are you in training for?

oy! you're feeding me scraps here! Half-winger or recurrent? we need to get this stuff covered so we can get back to me begging for a ride in your GCBC. :)

pretty funny

Welcome to the website and welcome to you-know-where!! It's a great time here and there, let's enjoy it while we can!!! lol

Telling me it's unlocked doesn't help the situation. I finally accepted I'll be wandering the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Monday, if that's even allowed for a guy from NJ.

Enjoy the training and maybe I'll be able to catch up to you next time I'm in town. The Citabria looks nice, would love to see it in person. :geek::geek:

That’s approved at my level. Definitely let me know when your around we’ll take it up then drink a few beers and tell lies.

I have an A-320 type rating, and did not follow much of that. What is a "half wing" training event? Is EWR Newark, or extended overwater training? Is your hangar unlocked for us while you are gone? Inquiring minds want to know . . .

Half-wing is a new hire pilot, their union affiliation pin is half of the full pin for the first year so we call them half-wingers

EWR is Newark, NJ

Can't comment on his hangar, in NC right now, probably should have tested the theory that it is indeed open though!
