Hello everyone!

I'm Luke from small town Ohio. I'm a high school teacher who gets to teach History of Aviation. Also a Private pilot who is currently working towards purchasing my grandpa's '69 7ECA. It has been a multi year journey of trying to bring it back into the family so we will see how it goes. Joined here to continued to get educated. I've already been snooping around on everyone's projects.

Thanks, yea it has been a journey. I have been in contact with the current owner for about 10 years. It hasn't flown in probably 15-20 but has been hangered that entire time. Will need a lot of work but that's a problem for a later time. I have so many photos, documents, and stories about this plane so hopefully it will all work out. I attached pic's of my grandma and grandpa with it and one of my daughter on the "plane" I grew up on built by my dad.
