Hello all,

I had an old 7ECA 18 years ago. Flew it off an 1100ft grass strip and loved it. Haven’t done much GA flying in the last many years and want to get back into stick and rudder. Trying to find something with an updated wing and solid engine. Looks aren’t a big factor.

Thanks

What is an "updated" wing? The 7ECA has to be the most aviation bang for the buck.

I am similar to Kdog - but active GA pilot. Looking for my Dad's airknocker. 1946 7ac-65 N84450. If anyone sees could you please get in touch?

welcome to the site Kdog, it shouldn't be too hard to find something like that. there's a 7ECA on Barnstormers that is very reasonably priced but it's hard to know for sure without seeing it in person. the slightly older planes that had the oleo strut gear don't command as high a price as the spring-steel gear planes but they all fly the same. Milman aluminum spar wings.

here ya go
