I’m a new Citabria owner. I purchased this 7ECA back in October. Since then I’ve flown it about 35 hours. I look forward to much more flying this spring.

Oshkosh? Not this year. Though I would like to attend a few fly-ins closer to home and will be watching this site for updates and information.
 
Anyone flying out there? I was out yesterday; a short cross country to see my folks. It wasn’t a wonderful flight—wind & clouds, but any flight is better than none... Flying solo is social distancing. I can’t be the only one, so post some stories. I’m interested in hearing about unique destinations in/around Northern CA.

Try Columbia, or downtown Redding. Once in a while, Trinity Center can be interesting. At one time there was a grass field at Schellville with really nice antiques.
 
Thank you Bob. Though it’s been awhile, I’ve been to all but Columbia. By downtown Redding, I assume you mean Benton? That’s where my folks live. I very much enjoy flying to the mountain communities around the area. Quincy is a favorite and the flight from Susanville to Alturas is beautiful, especially low and slow.

Thanks Bartman. I’ve been following, looking for opportunities to jump into a conversation. Being a new Citabria owner, I have a lot to learn. I earned my wings in a T-Craft, which I flew for 3 years. Graduated to a Starduster and flew it for another 3 years. Was out of flying for 14 years and finally found my way back last October. All that to say, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
