Tried to italicize that title - the Air part. Could not find the button.
I had a question about my air nozzle, so took a few photos. Note that my wing has an inlet- no screen, so birds can get in, I guess. I first made a little tube from cardboard and Fibreglas cloth. then I aimed it at my nose, but in the winter I had to tape over it to avoid freezing to death. Understand, I am a white knuckle guy when it comes to inverted stuff, and I need a steady flow of air aimed right at my nose so I can go home only moderately ill.
So my buddy gave me the eyeball valve you see in the photo. I am sure most of you would be a bit more artistic, but all I want to do is roll upside down with a steady flow of cool air.
I include a couple of other photos - the drink holder and pencil holder really didn't turn out well, but you get the idea. If I forget to tighten the string, my water bottle tries to bonk me on the head the first time I roll inverted. Bonk.
The vent in the window is easy to do, and really helps in the summer, and in those occasional flights when the Greek is in the back seat - she needs air, too.
Also note the Colbert Eagle - I know this neat lady in New Mexico who knows how to do this stuff - she does Cub bears, and model train legends.
