Need Help Finding Bungee Ends for Skis

Howdy,

Getting close to finishing Annual Inspection on my Citabria, and installing Federal A-2000A skis.

We are making new cables and bungees, but need to find 2 ends for the bungees. The one bungee I have is old but the ends are good. I need to locate 2 more ends for making the second bungee as that one is missing.

The "Shock Cord Fasteners" as they call them at Aircraft Spruce, do not have the safety locking rings, which my AI says I do need that style. My Citabria is certified so I can not use springs as there is no STC that I can find for springs, and the FSDO is not doing any field approvals.

So, need to find a pair of these ends. Anyone know where I may source a pair?

Sent 2 messages to TrickAir to see if they had anything, but no answer. Atlee Dodge told me that they did not have a STC for springs and to buy a Cub,.... Ha, Ha, Ha.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just heard back from Ron Piercy, but he stated that he did not have what I need. BooHoooo

I am still looking. Got a lot of feelers out, but still no leads as of yet.
