Need to find jack pad for 8gcbc scout

the factory fitting that hooks into the lower lift strut attach point is the way to go. i don't have a photo at the moment but a call to ACA will get you one. you'll need a bottle jack to use their fitting and the wheels have to be chocked

I lined mine with thick leather pads to prevent scratching.

I made an adaptable one - leather lined as above, but tapered to fit, adjustable with spacers so it fit the aluminum leg, and tightened with a pair of AN-5 screws. That way it won't slip up the leg, and I can help folks with steel legs if I am around when they suffer a flat. Also keep a spare wheel in the hangar - a bunch of Champs at my airport.
