New member, 7KCAB Project

Morning everyone,

A&P here, EAA member, and aspiring pilot.

Picked up a 75 7KCAB about 6 months ago. Engine is almost ready to light off after top ovh. Fabric is off fuselage...plan re wrap here soon now that rain has subsided here in CA.

Glad I found this forum, many questions to come...first of which is this: Heat slit straight edge finishing tape or classic pinked edge?

Ceconite vs Superflite Tapes

Just curious if there's any consensus opinion out there about Ceconite vs Superflite tapes. I was running low and ordered Ceconite 102 2" straight tape from Aircraftspruce but when I went to use it it was different and didn't seem as easy to use as the stuff I had been using which came from...

i like the Superflite tape better and it would be hard to wipe the 3M glue from picked tapes, imho
