Decathlon, 150 hp, fixed pitch or 2 blade aluminum constant speed prop
Super Decathlon, 180 hp, 2 blade aluminum or 2 or 3 blade composite constant speed prop
Extreme Decathlon, 210 hp, 2 or 3 blade composite constant speed prop

As far as I know. Every time I think I've got a handle on all of these Aeronca/Champion/Bellanca/ACA variants I find out I'm wrong.

Attractive, but just one notch above invisible when below you. Not quite as bad as camouflage or black.

Here is another one from the ACA fabisbuk site today. IMO this is a very questionable paint scheme for a Super Decathlon. Terrible for competition; we found out this weekend that it is hard enough for judges to see a bright red airplane in a cloudy sky, and no colors to help quickly determine attitude. Different top and bottom fuselage color makes a roll really stand out. Even if not competing, wouldn't you want passing aircraft to easily see you doing abrubt maneuvers in your practice area?

So is this going to be your paint scheme. It is gorgeous.
love it but the plan now is all white with the alternating blue/red starburst

the gray is nice too but i agree with Ed that it won't represent well in the air
