I'd just like to say that I'm happy starting new threads but that you're going to be stuck with stuff that I'm working on if it's usually left up to me, like avionics at the moment. Any one of you can start a new thread, just find the sub-forum that best suits the topic that you'd like to discuss and then hit the orange looking Post Thread button in the upper right corner to start the process.
Enter a thread title, explain what it is your question is or the topic that you're trying to discuss and the rest is interweb magic. People you've never met before will suddenly be talking to you about whatever it is that you're asking about.
Beware, "thread drift" is very real! Sometimes your discussion will be diverted to another topic but stay calm and after a few posts it may go right back to what it was you were asking about.
So go ahead and give it a try, start a thread of your own and see where it goes.
