I picked this up about a month ago. The mount snaps into an empty instrument hole and it runs on an internal battery for 4-6 hours.
I saw one at a trade show in demo mode and wasn't in love with the screen resolution. In real life is better than the demo I saw.

Very fluid motion. Some elves came to my hangar since I took this and moved my turn coordinator down and left one hole, so now the pocket EFIS is near the top of the panel.

I have that same high instrument panel in my Decathlon. I love it! Did you get a good deal on the Dynon?

This stuff is the way of the future. Way better than gyros. Especially at overhaul time.

$875 with free shipping from Spruce. That seems to be the floor on pricing no matter where you shop. The D3 is better and cheaper than the D2
