O-200 Wanted

Looking for certified Continental O-200A engine. Can be with or without cylinders. Would like oil tank and carb. included. Logs would be nice. Preferably mid time to needing OH. Whatcha got ?

I am starting a conversion, from the Continental O200 to a Lycoming O320. My O200 has 1800 hrs since new, 1 qt every 6 hrs oil burn, comps all in the mid to hi 70's. I will be about a year before my engine is ready to be sold. Depending on your timeline...

I purchased an engine from a guy in Arizona. I disassembled it and gave it a look over. I just sent the major parts out for evaluation and overhaul. I'll have to wait and see if they are serviceable. I'll keep your message for possible future consideration.

I have had lousy luck sending stuff "out" for inspection. Nothing ever passes.

I do get cracked cylinders now and then - and for a while I had a guy who could fix exhaust valves for a hundred bucks without rejecting a cylinder -
