Question about the length of the Citabria versus the Scout

So nothing to do with a different airframe.
Unless i'm wrong, i think the only difference is the size of the square tubes that support the wings, which are one inches on the Scout versus
three quarter of an inches on the Citabria.

My previous statement was about the airframe only, i also believe that the extra length is in the engine, spinner and the rudder, i'm not
so sure about the engine mount being longer as the 360+ a constant speed prop are way heavier than the 320 and a fixed prop on a
Citabria, C of G would be compromised and there is not much room to make it shorter either.

It would be easy for me to get a dimension for you from the rear of the prop hub to the point - but for now, let me tell you that is one big-ass spinner. It sticks way out, because it contains counterweights and stuff.

It is also possible that the rudder is bigger - if I remember, I will measure mañana.

Thank's for all yours inputs guys, the important point for me is to be sure that the airframe itself, is the same on the scout as the one
on the Citabria in length, i'm putting an IO-360 on a Citabria airframe.

Prop spinner is 15 3/4" front to back. Rudder is 19" at widest point. It is clear that the vertical fin is different. Hope that helps.
