quicky on NB oleos

I should know the answer to this but..... I have NB oleos on my Champ. Can I access the taxi spring in my oleos by unscrewing the bulb at the bottom end of the oleo or do I have to dismantle the whole thing?

there are two or three pieces on the oleo struts, maybe you'll find what you need there?
