Seat cushion / covers

The seat cushions in our 7ECA are reminiscent of the pillows in a bad hotel - flat, squishy and worn out. The seat fabric is in good shape, but the insides, man, they are leaving a lot to be desired.

Has anyone recovered and or rebuilt the foam in the seats? I’ve got a good, local hot rod shop that is willing do the sewing and shaping, but wants us to supply the materials and flammability certificates.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think it was @Clifford Daly that did his own interior with certs on the fabrics

Air text offer seat covers $750 I think which is what I am thinking on mine.but then the side panels will need to be replaced if I want it to match. There are also company’s who will provide the foam to match your project, then there is a way to get the burn cert by sending a peace out for the test. I will suggest you make sure the seat webbing will be strong enough to support what ever you do or the foam can be great but sag in the middle this is what happened on my Warrior, local shop recovery but did nothing with the lowers support webbing which had stretched.
