Hello! So glad to have came across this forum. I have recently been working toward a life long dream of becoming a pilot. Well, being 32 and having adult money has made that a reality…Just recently obtained my PPL in June, and currently working on my IR right now. Still haven’t tackled the TW Endorsement, but really trying to get the big stuff done first. Commercial after that, and building hours till I make it! I would love to fly seaplanes, a common staple of aviation here around Seattle.

My first small pane I ever got to fly in was a Citabria back when I was a teenager. Bummer I can’t remember the year or model, and have lost contact with the gracious gentlemen who shared the opportunity with me. None the less, it’s a classic love story for a plane I would someday love to own!

It seems as though I was too late in discovering the Bellanca - Champion Club as Robert Szego has recently passed. The club seemed to be an incredible resource for owners and fans alike with many hard to find publications. Recently I was able to get my hands on a used copy of The Complete Guide to Aeroncas, Citabrias, & Decathalons by Don & Julie Downie. What a incredible piece of facts and history!

Anyways, thankful to be networking with aviation friends like yourselves. Maybe some Seattle area owners and fans would like to catch up for coffee one of these days? I usually fly out of Renton or Auburn currently.
