Well here I am, once again digging up an old thread. I didn't comb through this document in great detail but SL-446 caught my attention. Looks like it would affect most if not all of us yet I haven't seen any discussion in this forum. I realize it's not an AD but would be interested to learn more about this from those of you with more mechanical experience
 
In light of Bob's recent invitation to post questions, I thought I'd bump this one up in hopes of learning more and generating dialog from a new member. Thanks for a great forum!
 
My iPads no longer are able to access ACA. I will open up the big Dell in a minute and take a look.
 
Except for the 1000 hour replacement, it reads like an annual inspection of cables. I think the big problem area was under the battery, but sealed batteries have sort of cured that. If this were a problem, it would be an AD - it reads like ACA has a full time lawyer, and is covering the bases.

Of course inspect your cables. They are not failing at the 1000 hour mark, as far as I can tell.
