Single Fuel Guage

1972 ECA in pre-buy. Has single Right Tank fuel gauge from factory, no left. Is this possible? Correct? Airworthy?

My Dec is 1977 with one gauge, and the wing fairings that allow windshield change without pulling the wings. May be an anomaly.

I guess the left tank gauge was still an option.
It may still be.

Not an anomaly, my 78 is also single gauge. But it has the new style fairings.
