I just replaced mine with a new Garmin GTR-200. A friend wants to buy my SL-40, but I need to get a feel for the market. Only two used units appear on a Google search - $1600 and $1800.
That, to me, is horrifyingly high. I was thinking $6-700. Anybody here have a “feel” for this unit? It has worked great, and has a PM-501 in the harness. The entire setup was around $1500 when I bought it new, including the intercom.
It is a great radio, but has lousy frequency memory circuits. It sucks about half the battery power in comparison to the GTR.
