Solo from the rear seat

Why does the GCBC have a prohibition on solo flight from the rear seat? W&B doesn‘t seem to be an issue. Lee

Location of controls and instruments would be my guess.

I'm with Ed, location of radios, instruments, trim lever, fuel shut off, door release handle, etc......it's all too far from the rear seat for it to be safe in the eyes of the FAA

Probably a manufacturer restriction - FAA just approves what they do. I agree - the aircraft was designed from the outset for solo front, just like all Champs.
