Champ Throttle / carb ht levers

My Champ gets Citabria throttle and carb ht levers. I have 1 Citabria throttle lever. I fabricated a second. I now need to fabricate the 2 carb ht levers. I have no template. There is of concern about the length to be sure they fit the upholstery cover plate, which I also don't have. Several internet photos show the horizontal part of the carb ht lever to align evenly with the throttle cable attachment on the throttle arm (a poor match up in my opinion). A by chance factory photo shows the throttle cable attachment above the carb ht horizontal.

Now, what I need to know which is correct and what the distance is between the slots on the throttle / carb ht upholstery cover ?

i have extras of the carb heat levers i think. Can check on friday. you can have them if you want them.
