8:50x6 tire STC for 1973 GCBC ? | American Champion
Would like to put 850x6 on my bird and am wondering if a STC is required and if so who holds/sells it ? Thank You ! Bob

For those of you using an iPad, here:
Per American Champion Drawing 7-1559 and the current parts manual the 8.50X6 4ply tire is approved under Type Design no STC required.
That was from Dale. Opinion: 8:00x6 is a much better choice from several standpoints.
