I am just finished a short acro program with Patty Wagstaff‘s operation in St. Augustine, FL. Wow, what a terrific experience! A real professional operation. Great instruction. We did it all, in a Super D mostly, with a bit of Extra time thrown in at the end. I really learned a lot.

No Chris, no video. I thought that I might video some of the experience but I decided that the learning aspect was more important than the thrill or adventure aspect and I wanted to stay focused on that. It is a really good operation. I flew with both Allen Moore and Patty and both were great. I had almost zero akro experience before this so it was especially helpful and confidence building.

Smart way to learn. My first acro instructor was a yahoo. I didn't know any better.

As a younger man I might have been more,…adventuresome…in trying acro. But, I‘ve survived “bold“ and reached “old” and I fully appreciate the value of good instruction!

I just returned from taking the 10-hour course with Patty and her team last week. It was a fantastic experience. I flew 7 hours in the Super D and 3 in the Extra 300, and two of those were with Patty. I'd never done acro before, and by Thursday was flying short sequences (5 maneuvers - loop, half Cuban, hammerhead, humpty, roll) in the Super D. Needless to say, the time in the Extra was a blast. Patty is as friendly, easygoing and down-to-earth as you could ask for. The pic is me and her inverted in the Extra 300.
