Aft of rear throttle control for aileron cable, probably could be 1/4 longer or am I missing a piece? I can’t tell from the parts manual.IMG_9780.webp

huh. Mine was right in the middle of the post and wasn’t rubbing. Close, but not rubbing. I might be able to get a photo in a couple weeks.

I have a similar setup if I recall correctly. No other parts. Going off memory obviously.

Try measuring the bolt and see if it matches what is specified in the parts manual. It shouldn’t be near the head of the bolt like that.

The cable comes from a bell crank under the floor to a pulley in the wing root. Misalignment at that bolt might indicate incorrectly installed parts elsewhere.

Couldn’t find that bolt in the parts manual, checked the alignment of everything else, with the stick in all 4 corners and it stays pretty consistent. Going to look closer at the push rod and pulley set up later today in comparison to the parts manual. Talked with Chad on the phone today and asked if he can identify what the bolt length it should be.

Looking at the blown up pic the nut appears to be "shanked" out on the bolt.
Perhaps consider a large area washer under the bolt head and or washers between the phenolic and after side of the fuselage member so only a couple of threads exposed on that bolt?

I couldn't find the part number for the bolt in the manual either. Does the phenolic sleeve look like it's been crushed down on either end?

I agree with @Kel, a couple of washers between the sleeve and the former would help push the sleeve and bolt head aft.
