Has anyone else noticed that items shipped Priority Mail are taking much longer than they used to to be delivered?

I'm at four business days since I ordered nuts and screws that were to be shipped from Harrisburg, PA to my house in central NJ. It has traditionally taken two days and this is the third order in a row that this has happened to.

Sometimes it is a delay in the shipping department. I was about to accuse the post office of parking my (tracked) package in a local warehouse for three more days, when suddenly it appeared on my doorstep, three days ahead of the tracking info.

I have been using Shippo - seems about 30% cheaper, and all I have to do is print a tag, paste it on the box, and hand to the kind folks at the airport postal annex store (not USPS). They take tags from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Usually UPS is the cheapest, but not always, and Shippo figures it out for me.

So no- no delays around here, even from Spruce. I guess that Joy guy in charge is not accomplishing the administration's goal, whatever that was.

Yes. I’ve stopped choosing the post office for shipping as I’ve had multiple packages disappear for a week or more “in the network” before magically showing up at my door.

It seems the post office changed priority mail from 3 days to 5 days and didn't advertise that fact.
Usually when something from Spruce takes a long time though, I look and discover that I added two bolts at the end and they were no stock in CA and now my whole order was shipped from Georgia instead. Now I try to always check before I confirm the order, may want to take out the offending item so I can get the rest right away. Login and check your orders and you can see where it shipped from.
