So, when I bought my Citabria a couple of months ago the battery in the GDL-50 was bad. I found out that you could not buy and replace the battery with new so I bit the bullet and bought a new GDL-50 from Spruce. A couple months later I found out you could send it into Garmin and they would swap it for a "factory refurbished" unit (for a price) so that is what I did. I just received it last week and now will sell it. The cords and tray are what came in the box with my new unit so those are new, and the GDL-50 is refurbished. Garmin said it has a 6 month warranty. Spruce price is $850 plus tax. I will sell this for $550 shipped anywhere in the continental US.
