Looking for United 6335 FP/MP gauge core

Hi,

I have a 2007 super d with a United 6335 FP/MP gauge that needs overhaul. Two different shops quoted about $300 but turn time is 6 weeks. No OHE units available that I can find. ACA doesn’t have any.

Does anyone have a 6335 core that I could borrow? Of course I’ll pay for all freight and a core return charge if it never comes back.

If no one is willing to loan me a core, then would you sell it? If I end up buying a core outright then once mine is overhauled, I’ll loan the core outright at no charge to anyone that needs it. Just pay freight. This is a community and we should try to help each other out. If you have a core on the shelf that’s just collecting dust, it could be out to use to help other owners.

Contact Ron at RainbowFlying.com, he's probably got one. You might try ACA also, they do a lot of panel upgrades but not sure what they do with the parts they pull out. I got an ACA marked instrument from them for the 8KCAB I restored.

And thanks for saying you'll keep a spare for community use.

I found a core at Rainbow. After I get mine overhauled, the core will go to Gordon at Alpine Aviation in Grass Valley, CA. Alpine Aviation | Grass Valley | California He's going to overhaul it and replace the one in his super d. Then he'll keep an exchange unit on the shelf. So if anyone needs one, call Gordon.
