Happy to find the forum! My name is Brady, I'm out of Grove Field 1W1, Camas Washington. I've owned an Ercoupe 415C, an RV-12, and now this cute 7AC champ. Thanks to Michael Payne at the Port Townsend Air Museum, I've become the new owner of a refreshed Champ. I've now got a great little airplane for my tailwheel endorsement journey.
I thought I was a good pilot after the RV-12, but after my first tailwheel lesson, this old girl has a lot to teach me about stick-&-rudder.
If you all could point me in the right direction, I need to track down an O-ring/gasket kit for one of my wing tank sight gauges. This Champ has been converted to dual 12.5-gallon wing tanks, and I have a small fuel leak at one of the sight gauges. I've emailed Aircraft Spruce asking for help, but I'm sure someone here has fixed a leaky fuel gauge before.
