Possible End to CFI Certificate Expirations???

That seems like a no brainer. They will probably retain all the steps CFIs gave to go through, but just eliminate the complicated steps like IACRA and notary services, etc. Same proficiency requirements.
I give ACE CFI $25 every two years, they give me a free correspondence course that takes just over three hours if I actually read the materials, and a new plastic certificate shows up in the mail. Change the rules, and that correspondence course will no longer be free. I am going to guess at $60, just like the ASI course for IA renewal.

it's not very clear, it seems like there will be a biennial renewal process and no mention of what those of us that let them expire will have to do to get them active again.
