Next month I'm taking my Decathlon in for the first annual since I bought it. The shop I'm taking it to maintains the Decathlon for Specialized Aero Works, so they are well experienced with the type, and their airplane spends a lot of time upside down. But I was wondering... do any of you have anything specific that you do or look for after an annual, before you do aerobatics? I have heard stories of wrenches bouncing around in the tail section and so forth, so I imagine being really thorough in the preflight would be a good start. Is there some sort of (unofficial) post-annual aerobatic inspection?
