Hello all,
Looking at a 1979, Citabria 7ECA, O-235-C1, 115hp. Currently own one, this will be a second one.
Issues noted…
Airworthiness Certificate is Normal Category only, FAA Database says Normal/Aerobatic. Just paperwork? All aerobatic placards are present in aircraft. No placards preventing aerobatics are present.
Rear spars, see pictures, are these scratches or show stoppers? Both rear spars have nick/scrarches.
Airspeed indicator goes to 145mph. I know older models were limited to 145, are they now ok to 162? Could this be connected to AW Cert?
Ailerons, three corners line up, outboard right droops by nearly an inch.
