1965 Citabria 7ECA re buid

Have a 1965 citabria that I have begun the rebuild, she's ready for sand blasting. I am going to have to do some welding , couple of stringer hangers, replace step and a few minor window areas with rust. Looking for opinions on using steel it paint after I get it sandblasted to keep it from rusting until I can get it epoxy primed. thanks

I’ve used Rustlik on bare steel as a preservative, works great and easy to clean off. I think you can even weld over it and it doesn’t affect the welds but check me on that.
