8KCAB Weight and Balance / Equipment List

Does anyone have a copy of a factory weight and balance / equipment list for a 1976 era Decathlon? I will be reweighing mine this spring and want to confirm moment arms and weights against the original specs.

Does anyone actually have an equipment list that is specifically for their airframe? I don't think I've ever seen one

I attached the Aircraft Equipment List for N26BY, a 2004 ACA SuperD. It's an extract from the Airplane Flight Manual.

By the way, an AFM is required for airworthiness, and each aircraft has its own. Contained therein is your actual equipment list and weight and balance from the factory. They are typically signed by an FAA representative, and have your N number on the cover page.

These things have a way of getting lost in older aircraft - I rarely find one in a Super Cub, for example. But they cannot legally be flown without them.

If you do not have one for your bird, figure out how to get one. There are ways . . .

Thanks for all your help. I have a copy of the original AFM but not the original Equipment list and W&B. I do have an equipment list from a W&B that was done in the 90s. Ideally I'd like to find a factory 1976 equipment list to confirm the datums and weights from the reweigh are correct. I downloaded the equipment list from the 2004 Super D listed above which will be a good starting point.
